My favorite birding spot started hot with lots of Yellow-rumps, Gnatcatchers
and a Yellow-throated Warbler.

With the sun came the east wind, clouds and no rise in temperatures.
Everything seemed to get quiet. Still, there were lots of Ovenbirds (18),
Red-eyed Vireos (2), Black and White Warblers (2). Towhees (10)were threeping
and at one point I had a group of five.

Also, there is a new Red-shouldered Hawk nest(ON).
