Hi folks,

I have a friend who is at wits end with a flicker pounding on her gutters.  He's been doing it for a few weeks.  He pounds on the gutters intermittently from 0600 to 1000 - not good for a family that likes to sleep in (they aren't birders).  They are considering the use of BB guns or paint guns.  She would like a better way of discouraging this disruptive bird behavior.  She lives on Kent Island.

Any ideas for getting a flicker to stop being a flicker on her house?
