Hi all,

I had been planning to post, but reading this e-mail
it doesn't really seem like I need to - I was at
Patuxent North Tract on Saturday morning and saw
almost the same list of birds, with the addition of
Nashville Warbler, Blue Grosbeak (f), Purple Finch
(f), Scarlet Tanagers (2 males) and Eastern Kingbird.
Red-Breasted Grosbeaks at the feeder too. They were
the first I'd seen in ages, very nice!

I had my first ever yard R-B Grosbeak (m) at my feeder
this morning (!). I also saw a female Red-Wing
Blackbird gathering nesting material. I heard a
warbler singing - it sounded a lot like the Ovenbird's
'teacher', only it didn't increase in volume, just
stayed the same all the way through...is that a
Black-and-White Warbler?

I'm at work now, trying not to think about all the
good birds I'm missing...

I love Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good birding,
