Lincoln Monument birds, 4/27

A lunchtime walk around the DC Veterans Monument and 
Constitution Gardens produced the following:

All over the place:
   American Robins carrying nesting material
   Common Grackles, ditto
   Starlings, carrying food (already!)
   Yellow-rumped Warblers (many)
   White-throated sparrows (many)
   Gray Catbirds
   Eastern Kingbirds (a few here and there)
   
At the DC Veteran's Monument
   Brown Trashers (3 or 4)
   Northern Flicker (1)
   
At Constitution Gardens
   Hermit Thrushes (several)
   Baltimore Oriole (1)
   Great crested Flycatcher (2)
   House Wren (1)
   Eastern Towhee (1)
   American Goldfinches (several)
