Hi all,
 Again this morning a new "official" yard bird, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak
singing from the top of the pin oak in the front yard. It appeared to be
getting ready to drop down to feed, but then sort of disappeared. Maybe it will be
back...

Also, had a singing male YELLOW-THROATED VIREO in the large old cherry tree
at the pond this morning, and a male bluebird staking out a nest box (from
which I evicted House Sparrows last week).
