Implicit in the discussion of whether adding a heard-only bird to
one's lists is legitimate, is the connection between the American
Birding Association (ABA) and the Maryland Ornithological Society
(MOS).  Other than MOS members being members also in ABA, and ABA
being the lead organization in North American for the sport of
bird listing, is there any formal link between MOS and ABA?
