Today there were about 50 Bobolinks in fields on the north side of Old
Frederick Rd (Rt 99) about 1/4 mile west of Rt 32. They seem to gather there
every year about now.

There were two Veeries at Milford Mill Park (Balto Co), my first of the
season. Migrants were generally scarce, but there was a Red-headed
Woodpecker in the deep woods inside the area where the trail loops sharply
back towards the parking area. That's a visitor that we've seen there
several times over the years.
