Activity picked up today, but the birds were very difficult to pull out of
the dense foliage. Most were located by song. The list:

Acadian Flycatcher (first of the year - breeder)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Veery (heard one yesterday)
Wood Thrush (singing since 4/22)
Blue-headed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Nashville Warbler (heard one yesterday and on 4/22)
Northern Parula
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Black & white Warbler (female; male yesterday)
American Redstart
Ovenbird (one yesterday)
Louisiana Waterthrush (singing since 4/17 - maybe a return breeder after many
years' absence)
Scarlet Tanager
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (2 males and 2 females)

Yesterday we also had Great Crested Flycatcher, Prairie Warbler, Orchard and
Baltimore Orioles.
