25 bird species on a 40 mile commute today;
including walking to and from the car.

Highlights were a BALD EAGLE over the
Patuxent River, 2 BLACK VULTURES from
Rte. 29 east of Rte 216; 2 COW BIRDS
copulating on a street lamp at Rte. 216 for
all passersby to see, a VEERY heard in my
very own Baltimore City yard, my first
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER
of the season beer-beer-beer-beeee 'ing heard
from a Rockville parking garage. Notable
were the number of singing Montgomery
County Song Sparrows.
