Sorry I forgot to sign that post.

One of my Atlas blocks is "Whitemarsh SW". This is in eastern Balt. Co.
just west of Rt. 95. This area is the "down side" of Smart Growth.
White Marsh and Perry Hall are designated "growth" areas and this is
very obvious from the number of new homes and all the new construction
that erupted with the coming of spring.

I only took on this Atlas block in 2003. At that time, Honeygo Park -
Snyder Lane was complete. Honeygo Park (on Honeygo Blvd) was a
construction site and was completely inaccessible.

Work has been completed on a community recreation center building and,
since spring 2004 arrived, crews have been madly working on the grounds
to make up for time lost in the monsoons of 2003. The athletic fields
and surrounding areas are a patchwork of newly laid sod and freshly
germinated grasses. Behind all of this is a goodly chunk of woods with
a maze of trails. I am still learning how not to get lost but paying
attention to the position of the sun and the roar of I-95 helps one find
the way out. Today was a very good exercise in maintaining my bearings.

Due to the unfinished condition of the landscape, the park has not yet
had its "Grand Opening".

To get to Honeygo Park, take I-95N to 43W (White Marsh Blvd). Turn
north (right) at Honeygo Blvd. Honeygo Park is on the east, about 2.5
miles north of Rt. 43.

If you continue north on Honeygo Blvd, the next light is Joppa Rd. To
reach Honeygo Park Snyder Lane, go left 1-1.5 miles to Snyder Lane.
Turn right on Snyder Lane and watch for the park sign on the right,
about 1-1.25 miles from Joppa Rd.
