I was at the pond last sunday and noted a pair of the queen's swans on a nest
atop the beaver's (?) home.  The female was on the nest with at least 5 downy
young and the male was busy chasing away all the Canada Geese.

Have they gone into hiding?  Perhaps they got shipped back to the queen.  We
can hope.
