The Purple Gallinule was seen again this morning (5/19/04) around 8 AM.
It undertook several short and low flights that took it from
the south side of the first impoundment to the left to the
northeast corner [further along Hunting Quarter Road from
the parking, near the border with the flooded forest beyond the island]
of the same impoundment.
