On an Atlasing walk this morning had much success finding some regular nesters from last year in the same trees.

The only warblers heard were Blackpoll singing from the trees.

Between the Big Cats area and the large waterfall is a grove of trees containing a E. Kingbird on nest in the same tree as Baltimore Oriole also on nest today in the largest Sycamore. You can see the Kingbird nest standing on the waterfall side and the Oriole standing on the opposite side of the tree from the grass.

Next to the grove there was an Orchard Oriole singing.
One Female Wood Duck seen sitting in a probably nesting hole and another female with three ducklings in the creek.

Also down at the Beaver/River Otter area are persistent pairs of Goldeneyes and Hooded Mergansers with a single male Green Winged Teal. The Mergansers were babysitting 10 ducklings. A female Mallard flew in next to the ducklings, so I assume they are hers. But, in the case of wishful Atlasing, does anyone know where I can find a picture of Merganser ducklings on the Internet?
