Patterson Park Monthly Bird Walks

Throughout the year Audubon Maryland-DC will be hosting several birding/nature programs in Patterson Park in Southeast Baltimore.  For more information visit:  http://www.pattersonpark.com/Activities/audubon.html.  The monthly bird walks are on the last Sauturday of the month.

Monthly Birdwalk (not appropriate for young children)
Saturday, May 29th 8:45 – 10 am
Come see who is nesting in Patterson Park. We will walk the trails of the park and find out who is around with our sight and their sound. Binoculars and field guides will be provided. Please pre-register for the walk by Thursday, May 27th.

Animal Dads (families)
Sunday, June 20th 2 – 3 pm
A story will start this fun series of activities that teach about Animal Dads. Celebrate Father’s Day by learning how Animal Dad’s interact with their children. Participants need not register for this program.

Nature Art (families)
Tuesday, June 22nd 6 – 7 pm
We will be creating fantastic pieces with natural and man-made
materials at the Fountain. Participants need not register for
this program.

Monthly Birdwalk (not appropriate for young children)
Saturday, June 26th 8 – 10 am
Join us for a morning walk in the Park to see who spends June in the park. Binoculars and field guides will be provided. Please pre-register for the walk by Thursday, June 24th.

Pond Ecology (families and adults)
Saturday, June 26th 1 – 2:30 pm
Join us for an active exploration of the Boat Lake. Our activities will help us determine the plants and animals that occupy the Boat Lake. Please pre-register by Thursday, May 27th.
