Hi all.

I was driving down St. Paul Street in Baltimore just South of 33rd Street
when a raptor, then two raptors caught my eye, flying together just above
the buildings. At first, I thought of falcons, eliminating peregrine because
of the slender body and the long tail in proportion to the rest of the body.
I thought they might be Kestrels, but it would be unusual to find Kestrels
here. To be honest, I didn't even think of Mississippi Kites until reviewing
the notes from MDOsprey this morning. I looked up the flight profile in the
only bird book I have in my office, and it is possible that these two birds
were kites. The chances of the birds still being around are slim, of course,
but anyone in the area might keep eyes open.
