Hi Rick,
I saw the male blue Grosbeak in Rock Creek very close to the Dewy Road Rec area(big soccer field & play ground). He was singing in the shade trees just off the bike path.
I observed him for 10 minutes, then a yellow billed cuckoo caught my attention and I watched it. I went back yesterday, but didn't see or hear it.
I haven't yet seen a Hooded warbler, or been able to visit Tucker Lane- I will soon.
My neighbor passed away Mon. and it has been a sad week.
Diane.

Diane,
Where, exactly, did you see the Blue Grosbeak? And did you ever see a Hooded
Warbler?
