Greetings,

Ahh summer I lvoe it.  Give Hazy, Hot and Humid anyday. Another great thing
about this time of year is all the outside noises and fragrances.
Everywhere I go I am hearing Red-eyed Vireos, Wood thrush, Pewees, G-c
Flycatchers and other migrants.  Maybe thats why I like the tropics, aside
from the weather there is always something blooming and singing.  Anyway
after yesterday's tropic-like deluge I was surprised to find a Belted
Kingfisher lit on a dead snag overlooking a marshy cove on the North East
River near Sandy Point.  The bird chatered a bit then flew off deep into
the swamp above three different families of Wood Duck.
