Greetings,

Yesterday I spent most of the day outside. In the morning I was working at
the Chestnut Point Marina on Carpenter's Point Neck in Cecil County. In the
afternoon I spent the day cleaning up my yard and fishing from my bank
(Shelter Cove, Hances Point, Cecil Co.)
All observatins were made either by ear or with out optical aids...
Interesting observations below:

Chestnut Point:
Catbird (ON)
Northern Flicker (calling from deep in the adjacent woods)
Baltimore Oriole (this bird has been singing in the marina for at least 6
weeks. I have not seen a female or nest though.)

Hances Point:
Wood Duck (acting wired like there may be a nest nearby)
RB Hummer (2 or 3)
NRW Swallow (FL)
Barn Swallow (FL)
Catbird (T)
Wood Thrush (distant singing)
C. Yellowthroat (T)
N. Parula (FL)
RE Vireo (T)
Cedar Waxwing (P) this was most intersting to me. This pair seemed mated.
It was the first time I have seen a single pair on my property. -Hope they
decide to nest!

Good Birding,
