While visiting with my family at Fort McHenry to see the Tall ships, I
saw the following:

2 adult Orchard Orioles - nesting confirmed ( at least 3 young in
nest heard in Sycamore Tree in Southwetern part of the Park)
    1 Pied-billed Grebe ( Southwest 'marsh area')
1 Spotted Sandpiper ( Southwest 'marsh area') --- breeder or
migrant?
1 immature Night Heron ( probably BCNH - Southwest 'marsh area')
    I Osprey (fly by)
    1 DC Cormorant (fly by)

My guess is that the first migrating shore birds will appear within
the next 7-10 days.
With Yellowlegs, Solitary and Least Sandpipers leading the way.

Actually the habitat in the Southwest part of the Park is not bad
now for shorebirds, with good viewing by scope.

            good birding!
