For several mornings, a neighborhood mockingbird has been performing
yellow-breasted chat-like flight displays from the top of a street-side
telephone pole.  This morning I realized that he was also vocalizing like a
male yellow-breasted chat (interspersed with his very loud and enthusiastic
repertoire of other bird vocalizations).  The vocal mimicking is fairly
typical, but do mockingbirds also imitate the behavior of other birds?
