Curlew Sandpiper at Assateague

Jeff Culler and I saw the Curlew Sandpiper yesterday at 10:10 am at the
exact spot mentioned by Mark Hoffman (see below).  He was feeding actively
for a few minutes and then disappeared for maybe 20 minutes before
reappearing.  He was still there when we left about 45 minutes later.



The reason I mention this, is that perhaps the bird is ranging and the
easiest way to locate the bird is to just keep an eye on the mud flat
mentioned below.
