Hi all --

I will be giving a talk to the Friends of Sligo, a conservation
organization, on the breeding birds of Sligo Park -- essentially an update
on the current Atlas project -- as well as a comparison with my data from my
Sligo blocks in the 1980s (with some discussion of habitat change in the
intervening decades.)

Now those of you who have attended one of my foreign trip talks know I have
a good library of slides of exotic birds. Alas, I am not blessed with the
same for our local species and feel this talk would be far more meaningful
with visual accompaniment.

Would anyone with slides of local breeding species -- e.g. Red-shouldered
Hawk, Barred and Screech Owls, Yellow-crowned Night-heron, Veery, Red-eyed
Vireo, Common Yellowthroat, Goldfinch etc. be willing to lend me these for a
couple of days? They will be well treated and returned in short order after
the talk. The date is September 21, but I would like to know well before
that in case I have to seek further afield.

Please reply to me off-list, and thanks...
