Greetings all,
Layhill Park was rather dead yesterday morning on the north side, though
we (John Combs (sp?) did manage to find 7 warbler species, including sigles of
Black-throated Green and Blue (female), C. Yellowthroat, Black&White,
Canada, and pairs or more of Redstarts and Magnolias.

The Black-throated Green Warbler ties my previous early record for this
species (Sept. 1, 2003, Rock Creek Park) and beats my previous Montgomery County
record by a day (Sept. 2, '96, Meadowside Nature Center). SO maybe some
migrants are coming through a bit earlier than usual.
