Thanks, George. I'll listen to the call note recording again. What I heard
in the yard, though, was not at all "buzzy" but more of a pure tone. When I
have heard calls before that I felt were wood thrush notes, they were more
sharp and sudden as well. Maybe that's what you meant by "springy." The ones
yesterday seemed quiet and less emphatic.
