Hi everyone,

I traveled to Gambrill State Park this morning in anticipation for seeing some good warblers. Unfortunately the warblers were in short supply so I left and went to the Harney ponds. I was able to locate the Bairds Sandpiper in the back corner of the East Harney pond.

On the way home, I stopped by the intersection of Prescott and Hyattstown Mill roads in Little Bennet regional park. This is one of my favorite spots in Montgomery County. No warblers, but on top of a large Sycamore tree approximately 100 feet South of the footbridge was a Olive-sided Flycatcher. The Sycamore tree had a lot of dead branches at the top, and the flycatcher was at the top or very close to it after each time he flew.
