At noon, 4 September there was a buff breasted sandpiper
in a dry wash just west of the 7.0 marker on Assateague Island, MD.
In the vicinity were two piping plovers, a few least and semipalmated
sandpipers, and about 15 black bellied plovers.

Also, the species seen and counts reported for 4 September at
the Mason Dixon pond were almost identical to those on
3 September from about noon to 3pm!
