This evening had 7 Common Nighthawks flying over the house at once.

A late post, last Saturday 9/11 went to Terrapin on Kent Island.  9 warbler species;
Northern Parula-good numbers, in flocks throughout
Chestnut-sided Warbler-1
Black-throated Blue Warbler-1
Black-throated Green Warbler- >2
Magnolia Warbler 1
Black and White-Warbler- a few around
American Redstart- All over, adult males, females, juveniles
Northern Waterthrush -1
Common Yellowthroat

Warblers all over the place. Spent some time at Horsehead (or whatever the new name is) Only one Tricolored Heron out on the Pond with Greater and Snowy Egrets, Lesser Yellowlegs, Black Duck, Killdeer, and Ospreys. A single wood duck there, Pine warbler in the woods, more Redstarts and a Black and White Warbler. All in all, a good morning.
