The forecast suggested that today would be good for a movement of hawks so I
went out to "Monument Knob" (Washington Monument State Park,
Frederick/Washington Counties).

Well, it turned out to be entirely cloudy with rather low clouds at that.
The result was almost no hawks -- about 3 Ospreys and 5 Sharpies,

BUT,

there was a small flood of warblers around the monument. I would estimate
there were about 100 warblers in about 5 waves over 3 hours (11 AM to 2 PM).
Black-throated Greens were about 60 per cent, followed by B-t Blues,
Magnolias, Black&Whites, Nashvilles, Blackburnian, Parula, Bay-breasted, and
??. It was the best concentration of warblers I've seen in years.

Also, there were several Brown Creepers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, one
Red-breasted Nuthatch, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
