Also noticed migrating Canada geese today in Bowie.  Heard, cupped my ears, squinted, and saw high-up Vs heading east-southeast.  Nice to see large groups of birds and that haven't become part of the non-migrating local populations.

   Whenever I went out today (9-29-04) there seemed to be another flock or two of Canada Geese going over.  I was checking the local lakes to see if Jeanne left behind any interesting birds.  Answer: none.
