With considerable sadness Barry found a dead Gray-cheeked Thrush this
morning in our yard, it was in perfect condition and may have struck the
house in the night (not near a window).

Right now it is in our freezer -- does anyone have a salvage permit who
would be interested in the specimen or who could transport it to the proper
place, such as NMNH? If so, please call us at 301-989-1828. Perhaps some
good can come of this small tragedy.
