The park was very birdy on this beautiful fall morning. I'm putting
together my own list of sightings at Sandy Point, which is about 3 miles
from our house. Was wondering if anyone knows of other official/unofficial
lists?
The winter waterfowl have not arrived yet...

Species seen, in no particular order:

RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET (3+, very active and almost tame. One almost landed on
me, before deciding I wasn't a tree!)
        EASTERN BLUEBIRD (1)
        YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER (2, Myrtle race)
Eastern Pheobe (3-4. Popping up all over)
        Eastern Towhee (m and f)
        Mockingbird
        Downy Woodpecker
        Red-Bellied Woodpecker
        Blue Jay (10+)
Red-Winged Blackbird (2, very bright colors)
        Cardinal
        Song Sparrow (numerous)
        Likely White-Throated Sparrow (faded)
        Carolina Chickadee
        Tufted Titmouse
        American Crow (100+)
        Herring Gull (winter plumage)
        Laughing Gull (winter plumage)
        Ring-Billed Gull
        D-C Cormorant (15+)
        Mallard
        Great Blue Heron (2)
Canada Goose (250 or so, coming into land outside the park)
        Starling
        House Finch

        - White-Tailed Deer (6+)
