This morning the National Arboretum in NE DC had a mix of lingering
summer birds and newly-arrived winter birds. Numbers were not all that
great, but it was a pleasant morning to be out.

Great Egret
American Kestrel
Merlin
Chimney Swift
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Brown Creeper
Blue-headed Vireo
White-throated Sparrow
