Hi All,

We're getting our first Purple Finches at the feeders here at Bent Willow
("Broken Wallet") Farm. I suspect they haven't been all that far off during
the breeding season, perhaps in the mountains west of here. We also had
four immature Sharpies a few weeks ago in the tall trees bordering our
property line.

Went up to a very stormy Washington Monument yesterday, there were
absolutely no raptors flying due to the weather. Today might be better,
although the winds are forecast to be out of the southwest.
