I've been remiss about posting the more common sightings but Gail
reminds me that it is for the greater good.  So...here are some
sightings from Worcester & Dorchester Counties over the past few
weeks:

Red Knot        1 (feeding on jetty rocks)

(Strong northeast winds, extraordinarily rough seas--not good for
viewing)

Truitt's Landing Road 23 Oct 04 (very high water here as well,
last third of road underwater--we had to back out to the
overcut on the north side of the road to turn around)

Public Landing 23 Oct 04 -- also very high water, up into the
parking area.  I've never seen a nor'easter have such a widespread
impact on waterlevels (both along the coast and in the Chesapeake),
as this one has had.
