Hi --

A pleasant morning to be out although things were a bit slow (compared with
earlier weeks) at Blue Mash Nature Trail, Mont. Co. We saw quite a few nice
birds and -- a number of other birders!

Among the more interesting sightings:

Northern Harrier (1, immature)
Green-winged Teal (~20)
Killdeer (~25, in flight)
Palm Warbler (4, yellow)
Myrtle Warbler (2)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (12)
FOX SPARROW (2, first of year for us)
Chipping Sp. (1)
Field Sp. (10)
White-crowned Sp. (2-3)
Swamp Sp. (12)
White-throated Sp. (~35)
Song Sp. (~35)
Junco (8)
Eastern Towhee (4)

The foliage was very lovely and we saw a late Pearly Crescent butterfly.

(Hope Lydia et al. will post what they saw, I know they gripped us on
Savannah Sparrow and Hermit Thrush).
