Hi all,
Blue Mash Nature Trail was a nice place. Most
Killdeer and Mourning Doves with yellowlegs took
flight few times from a pond behind maintenance
building and settles there out of view. Geese arrive
from three different directions and lands in a pond
where the killdeer and dove were.
Before that, I was seeing a lot of sparrows near
end of gravel road toward the gate to yard.
Clay-colored was easily picked out among the flock and
took off toward the weedy field inside the loop. It
was observed for about 2 minutes and 1 seconds.
Amazing to see 10 species of sparrows in a small park.
The godwits was seen on/off as they hid among rocks
at north end of pond. Wade took some digital pictures
from a special camera.
