This morning's walk at Fort McHenry was highlighted by the Brant, which were
feeding on the lawn until flushed by tour groups, and the first Fox Sparrow
of the season at the Fort.

The Brant, a new county bird for me, flew to the cove near the wetlands and
then headed back toward the shore, but eventually moved further out and then
disappeared.

Also seen were Forster's Tern and Swamp Sparrow. Marsh Wren was heard in the
marsh.

Jim Peters also had two Wilson Snipe before the walk began, and saw a total
of 31 species.
