A Pine Siskin turned up with the goldfinches to our feeder today - completing the trio of winter "invaders" at our feeders this week (Purple Finch and Red-breasted Nuthatch being the other two).  Actually, I only ever see the "winter" finches in November and April here in the yard even in years when Purple Finch can be found with some ease through the winter elsewhere in the county.
