Nice walk at Terrapin Park, Queen Anne's Co, today with some friends from
Texas. Not too much activity, in fact, a tad disappointing considering the
amount of food (berries etc.) in evidence. But, as always, a few birds of
interest:

Swamp Sparrow (2)
Fox Sparrow (2)
GRAY CATBIRD (1)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (1)
Winter Wren (1)
Cooper's Hawk (1, adult, great looks)
Sharp-shinned Hawk (1)
Redtail (1)
out in Bay, Bufflehead (20 or so) and two male Goldeneye

As well as many Robins, Blue Jays and Flickers passing through or just
hanging, and the expected wintering Juncos, Song and White-throated
Sparrows.
