Salisbury Landfill had the following early this afternoon:

BLACK-HEADED GULL - one 1st winter bird paddling in a small pool next to the lower dumping site. Got photos (not great ones) before it flew off when a Bald Eagle spooked the birds, did not see it again.
ICELAND GULL - a fairly pale, very nice looking 1st winter. A bit distant but also photographed.
Also 5 Lesser Black-backs (2x1W, 1X2W, 1 3W with a bad injury to its left flank (eagle?), 1 adult), tons of American Herring, Ring-billed and lesser numbers of Greater Black-back and Laughing (looked for Franklin's to no avail).

I then tried to go to Beulah Landfill but got there too late - though the landfill closes at 4:30 all birders have to be out by 3 as they have locked people in in the past!! (Anyone on this list?)

Earlier, O.C. had 2 imm Great Cormorants and lots of fishermen and fishing boats in the inlet and not much else. Peregrine on the water tower.
