A few years ago, Marshall Iliff made some comments concerning Silver Gull
after finding one, I believe, at the Brown's Station Landfill in PG Co. I
did an archives search on MDOsprey, but could not come up with this posting,
so it may have been sent through other channels. A bird that I saw at the
Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in 2000 may well have been a Silver Gull.
Apparently there was a collection of escaped or released birds that still
have a few lingerers in the mid-Atlantic area.
