We discovered not only the stoneflies but also some smaller midge-like  
insects, many of which were walking on the concrete of the bridge along with the  
stoneflies. A large turtle was also sunning in the pond below, so though it was 
 in the high 20's early, it warmed up enough for these animals to be out.
