Hi again,
As I arrived at Black Hill this morning, I ran into Andy Martin who had
seen the Long-tailed Duck earlier. While we (Helen Patton, Rob Hilton, Lisa
Shannon and Kevin Graff) were looking at the grebe, it flew by and into the cove
by the boat ramp. Didn't see the Red-throated Loon though, but it may still
be around.

While we watched the swallows at the bridge at the Monocacy, some of us (who
were facing the right direction) saw a Wild Turkey fly across the road from
the woods on the Lily Pons side to the opposite side, rather high up and far
up the road.

I am leading a walk for The Backyard Naturalist tomorrow, and we are heading
to Black Hill again. If anything good shows up, I will begin making phone
calls. If anyone wants to join us, we will be at the visitor center around 8:30
or so.
