This is a notice that the DC Audubon Society is planning on continuing
the C&O Midwinter Bird Survey.  It will take place on Saturday, January
22, 2005.  With Mike Milton's passing, we are doing some overhauling of
assignments and data gathering.  Covering a distance of 184 miles with
groups of volunteers doing 2-3 miles is no small task.
Those who have done this in the past and wish to continue will be
greatly welcomed and contacted soon.  For those, who are interested in
participating in this survey formal details will be forthcoming.
