Howdy, ya'll,

This is Tom Fry, an erstwhile MD birder now happily ensconced in Sedona,
AZ. Some of you may remember me as the Buddhist monk who lived out River
Road and loved birding Hughes Hollow.

When I lived in MD, I was a fairly provincial birder and never made it,
believe it or not, to the shore. Those birds remain my weakness. Well, I'm
coming to visit my sister 12/30-1/14, with my own transportation and loads
of free time. Is there anyone who'd like to spend some time with me
finding some of the coastal goodies? I'm open to jaunts taking in Chinc-
Assateague, the Ocean City stretch, and/or the refuges. I definitely have
target birds but I'm sure there's stuff I'm not thinking of.

If you're willing, just drop me a private line: tomfry at esedona.net. I'd
love to hear from old MOS pals, too.

I'd be happy to return the favor for anyone visiting AZ. Living here has
doubled my life list, at least. I've found fellow fanatics and have criss-
crossed the state, finding 333 species in just 4 years (latest was Green
Kingfisher--yowza!).

If you'd like to read about some of my AZ adventures (plus two weeks in
the south of France this May!) check out my blog:
