Hans and others -
The Western Kingbird was seen from the public highway, Route 33, that
runs from Easton to Tilghman Island. The bird was in a field on a property
called Smith Point Farm (it has a sign with the name). This is located along
Route 33 between the McDaniel Store and the intersection with Lowe's Wharf
Road. The farm has a white fence that runs along the left side of the road
as you drive south. The fence goes for as much as 1/2 mile or so, so one
should not have much trouble finding it.
The bird was initially in the field behind the fence, on the ground,
but then obligingly took a perch in a small tree giving nice scope views.
It moved around from time to time, for there are a number of available
perching places in the area, such as posts and wires, as well as a few
bushes. All such places would deserve checking if you go looking for the
bird.

	Good luck!
