Some of us who list don't expect to win, but do enjoy trying to make a 'decent' showing. Why not try to see 25 species in each county, and do a Big "Home County" Year.
I think you should create some more atlas-type competitions, since they result in added data, which all-county lists rarely do.
However, I sure would like some tips on how to confirm caprimulgids. Do I creep around the edge of the woods in the early morning trying to see the bird on a nest?? Good old FY won't work!! So far I've just been happy to get them to "T" status.
