Highlight was a female Common Goldeneye preening in the sun. I'd never had a
close look at one and the red head and yellow bill tip had me a bit confused
but I finally figured out what I was looking at. Other waterbirds were a
couple of female Common Mergansers, one male Hooded Merganser, and a couple
of Ring-necks.
