On Christmas morning I opened a present from my husband to find
an iPod. Well, that was what my 17-year-old wanted -- so I was just a
little confused (I had asked for a GPS).

But then he spent the next four days (of HIS Christmas vacation) downloading
a complete library of Mp3s for every bird in the Eastern (and many
Central) US. When
I get to go to the West Coast, he will add those. It is wonderful for
identifications in the
field and study (especially while commuting -- no more bus and subway
boredom.)

I have an attachment to the iPod that allows me to play the Mp3 in the field
so that birds can hear it.

He is willing to share the fruits of his labor. The easiest way is on a
flash drive.
It must be new and unopened. We are nuts about safe computing. I believe
they run about $29.00 at CompUSA or Best Buy, you may be able to do better
on sale or on line.

Blessed New Year,
Gayle

If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come.
Chinese Proverb

A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.
