I appreciate the other recordings on the site too.  The scream of the Barred Owl is one I heard recently that took me by surprise. Mostly because the volume of the scream was near police siren - levels.

Jim didn't mention where to look during the day.  Try anywhere.  Close to the trunk, on the tip of a branch, high, low, trees, vines, bushes.........
